Thrilling Accounts of One Man's Pilgrimage, with Plenty of Buddhist Teachings Thrown In

Welcome to Temple Tales by me, James Baquet, AKA The Temple Guy, a longtime teacher and pilgrim, now sharing my knowledge and experience of temples and Buddhism.

Camera and notebook in hand, I have visited over 700 temples, shrines, and sites of religious and historical significance in Japan and China, as well as the American Southwest, California and Baja California; Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Macau; and now, increasingly, in my country of residence, the Philippines. (Read more about me than anyone would ever want to know in this post.)
